Following the clearance of rockfalls, Meiringspoort has been restored and is once again open for traffic.

4. R44 Clarence Drive (Gordons Bay to Rooi Els)

5. Mitchell’s Pass (Ceres to Wolseley)

Initially closed due to mudslides, Mitchell’s Pass is now open for travelers.

The R301 between Wellington and Wolseley is currently out of operation.

3. du Toitskloof Pass

The R101 stretch between Paarl and Worcester is closed for the time being.

4. Grootriver Pass

The R102 in Nature’s Valley is temporarily inaccessible.

5. Franschhoek Pass

The R45 connecting Franschhoek and Theewaterskloof Dam is inaccessible to motorists.

6. Visserhok Road

Travelers on M48 between Durbanville and N7 should seek alternative routes.

7. Goudiniweg

This road remains closed indefinitely.

8. Slanghoek Road

One lane of Slanghoek Road is closed due to ongoing maintenance.

The entrance to Citrusdale continues to be closed until water flow allows emergency repairs to commence.
