The Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) has issued a call to media outlets to register for accreditation ahead of the Presidential Imbizo slated for June 30, 2023. The event will be held in Alfred Duma Local Municipality within the jurisdiction of uThukela District Municipality in KwaZuluNatal Province.
The South African government is dedicated to maintaining an active engagement with its citizens, and the Presidential Imbizo is an excellent example of this commitment. Scheduled for June 9th, 2023, this year’s Imbizo will take place in the Alfred Duma Local Municipality, located in the uThukela District Municipality of KwaZuluNatal Province.
On 19th May, President Cyril Ramaphosa led the District Development Model Presidential Imbizo in the Cape Winelands District Municipality, Western Cape. The Imbizo aimed to promote collaboration and open communication between citizens, community organizations, businesses, and the government for inclusive economic growth.
