South African music band Jamali, the winners of the CocaCola Popstars competition in 2003, is celebrating their 20year journey with a 20Year Legacy Celebration concert on 5 August 2023 in Pretoria. The group, composed of Jacky Carpede, Mariechan Luiters, and Liesl Penniken, has been a major force in the South African music scene, with platinum album sales, soldout concerts, and numerous music awards.
