South African netball players Refiloe Nketsa and Elmeré van der Berg have joined forces with global sports brand Puma in preparation for the 2023 Netball World Cup. Puma is dedicated to supporting and empowering women in sports and has enlisted the help of the talented duo to help achieve this goal. Both Nketsa and van der Berg have been named in the final squad for the SPAR Proteas by coach Norma Plummer, alongside other Puma family members Bongi Msomi, Khanyisa Chawane, and Shadine van der Merwe.
Netball South Africa recently revealed the final squad for the upcoming Netball World Cup, set to take place in Cape Town from July 28 to August 6. The 12player lineup, along with three reserves, will represent South Africa at the prestigious event held at the Mother City’s International Convention Centre. The squad will be led by captain Bongi Msomi, and prior to the announcement, the team assembled for a fourweek training camp under the guidance of coach Norma Plummer.
