American golfer Harold Varner III secured his first professional victory on American soil in the LIV Golf Invitational DC tournament, defeating South Africa’s Branden Grace by a single shot. Varner took home the $4 million top prize after concluding the week with a 12under score. This victory adds to Varner’s earlier successes, including the 2016 Australian PGA and the PIF Saudi International held last February.
