On May 27th, 2023, an unaccredited man in allblack attire breached security during a meeting between President Cyril Ramaphosa and members of the African National Congress (ANC) national working committee (NWC), and the party’s structures in North West, South Africa. The president’s security detail acted swiftly to ensure his safety by thwarting the intruder’s attempts to storm the stage.
