On Sunday, 23 July, Tafari Campbell, a personal chef to the Obamas, lost his life in a paddleboarding accident near the Obama family’s Massachusetts home. Campbell, who had previously worked for the Obamas in the White House, had a longstanding relationship with the family, continuing his services even after the former president left office in 2016.
