A Culinary Collaboration

The Bailey is the brainchild of an esteemed restaurateur-chef duo, Liam Tomlin and his wife Jan, of Chefs Warehouse fame. They partnered with Tintswalo Lodges owners Lisa and Warwick Goosen, and Gaye and Ernest Corbett to create a unique culinary destination.

Three Floors of Delight

The Bailey offers an unrivaled dining experience across three floors. The ground floor features Chefs Warehouse at The Bailey, an open seafood bar, and a delectable global tapas menu. The first floor showcases The Brasserie, where classic French-style dishes take center stage. The Old Bailey Lounge Bar is on the top floor, offering an extensive selection of whiskeys and premium wines, spirits, and cocktails, accompanied by live music performances on weekends.

Tradition and Innovation

Under the culinary guidance of Liam Tomlin and Executive Chef Asher Abramowitz, The Bailey offers a dining experience that gracefully intertwines tradition and innovation. The opulent interiors and tantalizing menus make it an essential destination for those seeking a sophisticated retreat into the world of Cape Town’s culinary delights.

Relish Every Moment

Operating from midday until after dark, The Bailey invites its guests to relish every moment, every flavor, and every memory created within its historic walls. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday, 12 pm to 11:30 pm. More information and reservations can be found on their website at the-bailey.co.za.

A Must-Visit Venue

The Bailey is not just a culinary destination, but a journey through time, art, and gastronomic innovation. This elegant establishment offers a unique dining experience that will leave a lasting impression on its visitors, making it a must-visit venue in the heart of Cape Town.
