Celebrity Doctor’s Hyde Park Mansion Abandoned Amid Controversy

1 min read

Nandipha Magudumana, a celebrity doctor, was having her possessions removed from her rented Hyde Park mansion when a quarrel broke out with the landlord. According to a security guard at the property, several trucks had arrived to move the possessions, but the landlord claimed that some of the removed items belonged to him.

Representatives from the property firm stepped up and said that some of the goods being taken from the premises belonged to them. GroundUp knows that the building has been left empty.

Links to Escaped Rapist and Murderer

Magudumana has been linked to the escaped rapist and murderer Thabo Bester, with reports emerging that the two were running a property renovation business called Arum Holdings. Bester was seen with Magudumana and her daughter in a Sandton Woolworths. Then, in June 2022, over two months after the fire in Bester’s jail cell, where everyone assumed he had perished, he was found alive. Magudumana has also said that she is Bester’s traditional wife.

Unconfirmed Reports of Fleeing the Country

Several rumors are circulating about Bester and Magudumana’s whereabouts. Some reports suggest they have fled the country, while others claim they are still in Johannesburg. Despite compelling evidence published by GroundUp that Bester escaped prison and that Magudumana was his accomplice, authorities investigating the matter have not yet confirmed that he has run. It is still being determined whether the police are actively searching for Bester and Magudumana.

Police Investigation Reaches Critical Stage

The South African Police Service (SAPS) said that the inquiry into the case had reached a crucial point. Bheki Cele, who is in charge of the police, said, “It looks like the DNA proves that the person who died there is not the person you think it is.” Makhele told GroundUp, “You can always call Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or use the My SAPS app to share any information that can help the police solve or investigate a case.”

Abandoned Property Next Door

The property next door to Magudumana’s previous rented mansion, which several sources say was being renovated to become Magudumana’s new wellness clinic, is now deserted and half-finished. What happened to the project is still being determined.

The controversy surrounding Magudumana and Bester has caused much speculation, but the truth remains a mystery. We will continue to follow this developing story and update our readers as more information becomes available.
