Cavalli Estate

Cavalli Estate is a must-visit destination for foodies, scenery-seekers, and wine connoisseurs alike, nestled in the heart of Helderberg’s magnificent Cape Floral Kingdom. The estate is named after the Italian word for horses. While it may be famous for its splendid livestock, it also offers an exceptional dining experience in its waterside restaurant, headed by chef Michael Deg.

A Passion for Seasonal, Whole Foods

Chef Michael is passionate about cooking with the seasons and letting the integrity of the ingredients shine, with an array of delectable dishes on his menu. The restaurant offers a three-course dinner and a flavor-packed indoor picnic, with each word prepared using fresh, whole foods.

The indoor picnic for two, priced at R440, is perfect for those who prefer a romantic, cozy atmosphere at home, while the three-course dinner, priced at R220 per person, is perfect for those who want to indulge in some top-drawer dining. Both are available for delivery, and there is free delivery within a 10km radius of Cavalli, with an additional R50 delivery charge for each additional 5km.

Beautiful Gardens, Architecture, and Scenery at Cavalli Estate

In addition to the exceptional dining experience, Cavalli Estate is famous for its beautiful gardens, architecture, and scenery. The venue offers a perfect setting for weddings, art exhibitions, and wine tasting.

A Splendid Experience at Cavalli Estate

While some recent reviews expressed disappointment with the food, our experience was nothing short of splendid. The food was beautifully plated and very tasty, and the setting was glorious. The staff was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service and exceptional atmosphere.
