Matheba has maintained a long-standing connection with the pageant, having been part of the judging panel in 2014, and hosting the event during its 60th anniversary in 2018 and 2019 when Zozibini Tunzi became Miss Universe.

The Contestants
Seven contestants will vie for the prestigious crown at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria on August 13th. The contestants are Anke Rothmann, Bryoni Govender, Homba Mazaleni, Jordan van der Vyver, Melissa Nayimuli, Nande Mabala, and Natasha Joubert.
