The North West Provincial Legislature is hosting an oversight week in various municipalities under Dr. Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality from August 29th to September 1st, 2023. The Portfolio Committee on Economic Development, Environment and Tourism, Agriculture and Rural Development will adopt a public hearing report on the National Veld and Forest Fire Bill [B24B-2021]. Several committees will conduct oversight visits to various development projects, such as upgrading roads, housing projects, water supply infrastructure, libraries, and cultural facilities.
