Self-Sufficient and Solar-Powered

Solar-powered and self-sufficient, Gonana is unaffected by loadshedding and encourages its visitors to reduce their carbon imprint. The property has eight guest rooms with en suite bathrooms, seven with private terraces or balconies, and one apartment that can function as either a self-catering unit or a bed and breakfast. The gardens are indigenous and water-efficient, and the furnishings are natural and sourced locally. Accommodations

Aside from the guesthouse, the Gonana Collection offers two fully furnished, pet-friendly, self-catering houses, the Aloe House and the Acacia House, which won the 2022 Afristay Pet-Friendly Destination award. It also includes three self-catering, separate Scallop, Oyster, and Mussel Studios, and the exclusive three-roomed Coral Villa. All of these accommodations are solar-powered and unaffected by loadshedding.
